It really depends on your needs. We recommend the Lifetime Leash for most dogs, the Lifetime Lite Leash for hands-free hiking or walking, but both can be used as your everday leash.

They’re basically everything-proof but each material is a little different when wet. We use dry-treated climbing rope and rust-free stainless hardware.

Each leash is a little different, but they all use stainless steal clips, premium dynamic rope and nylon webbing with top of the line forged aluminum hardware.

All of our products are guaranteed for life, even if your pup destroys them.
If your pup manages to destroy your gear - just mail it in. We'll repair or replace what ever's broken.

Our products are handcrafted in the Rocky Mountains from the same technical materials we learned to rely on ourselves, with attention to detail only found in small-batch American production. After going through all of the products we tried, we decided to make better dog gear by ourselves. The secret to our quality? Using the best materials available, because most dog gear is made to be thrown away.

We know dogs can surprise us with creative ways of destroying our favorite things and nothing is indestructible to a determined pup. While our product is not indestructible, our lifetime warranty covers any damage, you’ll just have to mail it in. We built our products to be repaired and reuse the clamps & hardware, but if they've somehow managed to destroy the whole thing, we'll replace your item for life.

We offer 8-10 day standard USPS shipping. We are almost always quicker but want to give you a fair estimate.

Our leashes are made with Edelrid climbing rope from Germany — the same rope used by professional climbers. The hardware is 316 marine-grade stainless steel, and every leash is assembled by hand in Golden, Colorado.

We offer two standard lengths: 5 feet and 8 feet. The Lifetime Lite Leash is also adjustable from 4 to 7 feet and can be worn hands-free.

If your leash ever breaks, wears out, or gets chewed through, send it back to us. We'll repair or rebuild it at no cost. The warranty covers everything — not just manufacturing defects. You pay return shipping, we do the rest.

The Lifetime Leash is our flagship — a fixed-length leash with Edelrid climbing rope rated to 5,400 lbs and 316 stainless steel hardware. The Lifetime Lite Leash is lighter, adjustable, and can be worn hands-free across the body. Both are covered by the same Lifetime Warranty.

Climbing rope is extremely durable, but a determined chewer can damage anything. The difference is our warranty: if your dog chews through the leash, send it back and we'll rebuild it. That's what "Guaranteed for life, even if your pup destroys it®" means.
