Sizing & Fit
We recommend choosing your size based on the weight range. If your pup is in between sizes, we recommend buying both so you can try them side by side and then return the one that doesn't fit.

Our rescued dog gets freaked out over everything, including the wind, people, cars, and especially children. Any of these sets her off to pull on the leash. We tried a leader, at least 8 harnesses and for the longest, a prong collar. Of course we hate the prong collar but it was the only tying that worked. The harnesses would all loosen and she would pull out and get away. Granted, her body type is not a “normal” size. At last, we decided to try this harness at looking at the reviews. Yes, it’s pricey. But boy has it CHANGED EVERYTHING. She is more confident as it doesn’t chafe her or make her feel restricted. She pulls still of course when she’s scared, but it’s extremely more manageable. And I feel 100 times better that it’s not hurting or debilitating her. The clasp is awesome and it DOESN'T LOOSEN over time. Their guarantee also makes it worth it. This is, THANKFULLY, the last harness we will ever need to buy. I could cry. Thank you, Atlas! If you struggle with the same problems, please don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

While putting on and taking off this harness on your dog is a breeze thanks to the magnetic latch, this is. It very rugged and within 3-4 months it shall start to rip at the seams mostly on the part that hugs the dog’s chest. The tug force of the dog mostly causes this issue. I can say for sure as I am on my second Lifetime Harness and it’s giving way at the exact same spot as the first one. However the lifetime replacement of the harness greatly offsets this loss as the company is spot on with their replacement/repair support.

I was very excited about the look and the fit of the lifetime harness. I took my one year-old Siberian Husky puppy on a successful walk with noticeably less pulling. But when we got home, I went inside for about five minutes to make her breakfast and came outside to find my darling beastie had chewed the harness off of herself. I sent it back for repair and have not heard anything or received the repaired harness. I would have appreciated an acknowledgment that the harness was received and an estimate of when I would receive it back repaired. Hopefully we will get it back soon!
